Street Dance

An introduction to street dance children will learn to combine basic moves and techniques to form fun extended routines to well-known tracks.



Rhythm and co-ordination.  The Children will learn the basics to tap Dance having the ISTD syllabus as a guideline.  We will also explore different music genres that will encourage versatility in style and performance.


Musical Theatre

Singing, acting & dance.  A fun way to build confidence and explore performing arts.  We will study different west end shows, pantomimes and animated films learning song scripts, as well as choreography.

Multi-sports (to alternate ½ termly with dodgeball)


A mixture of games and sports to encourage all children to be active through a range of activities, led by Southend United community coaches. 



Throw, catch and aim at your opponents with active competitive games led by Miss Hartigan 



Led by Mrs Smith qualified level 2 netball coach who helped make Holt Farm league Champions a few years ago.  You will learn the rules of Hi five netball and improve your skills in throwing, catching, passing and building on team work. This year we are entering a team into the year 5/6 league.



Clubs for girls only and years 3/4 and 5/6 boys.  Improve your football skills with Miss Hartigan & Mr Knight



Led by Chris Nelson from Rochford tennis club. Improve your hand eye coordination, play duck shoot and prisoner to develop your skills as a tennis player.


Running / athletics

A jam packed session led by Mrs Robinson a Essex athlete herself.  Children develop their running technique and fitness through games and training sessions designed to improve speed and endurance in fun ways.  We will also complete circuit training and play games.  Almost all sports require athletes to be fit enough to run so why not come along and help us become district sports champions again!



Led by British Gymnastics Selina Fox (Engergize Essex Ltd) children joining this group will be able to improve their gymnastics skills further and learn routines, year 3/4  will be practicing skills and routines that are involved in key steps competitions in the
