Our first event of the year! The afternoon was all about having a go and trying something different or new.  The children tried 6 different activities from tag rugby to circuit training, aerobics, bench ball and tennis. District cross country The Deanes School 7th March 2017
What fantastic performances by all cross country ru
nners today.  We came away with two medalists who will go on to compete in a county event.  4 further top 20 finishers.  Our largest team to date participated in a huge event against 26 other schools at Deanes, each race had over 120 competitors in it.  The course was tough with hills to contend with, everyone put in their best efforts and should be very proud of themselves, I was particularly impressed with the organisation of our team this year, everyone was kitted out appropriatly.  Well done!
