Breakfast Club
I am pleased to confirm that the HFJS breakfast club will commence on Monday 21st September 2020. The club will be arranged differently to ensure that we limit any risks and keep everybody safe. Your child will be in a breakfast club bubble as well as their class bubble. . With this in mind the following procedures have been put in place:

- Parents/carers need to book breakfast club sessions by Friday at 12pm for the following week. Children will not be able to attend if a place has not been booked due to staffing implications.

- The cost of the club will remain at £4 per session ( Free for those that qualify for Pupil Premium funding)

- It is a condition of the club that parents do not use the car park or walk their children across the car park to enter the club

- On the mornings that a place has been booked children can come into Breakfast Club no earlier than 7:45am.

- On arrival children will follow the procedures already in place to limit risk e.g. handwashing, sitting in their own place, using their own equipment.

- Children will be reminded about maintaining a 2m distance from the adults that are in their Breakfast Club bubble (these adults may not work in their class bubbles) and about washing their hands.

- There will be a designated space to spend time outside each day. However, there will be inside activities on offer too e.g. art and quizzes if the weather is bad.

The breakfast session will end at 8:40am and those children who are based in the hall will be escorted back to their classrooms where they will follow the normal procedure of washing their hands.

We are pleased to inform you that Holt Farm Junior School provide breakfast club facilities. It is their aim to support working parents by providing early morning childcare and also to offer children the Junior School the opportunity to have a healthy breakfast at the start of the school day in a safe, friendly and welcoming environment. The club will be run by members of staff from the school team.
