PE at Home

Hi Everyone,

I know you are all working really hard at home but it’s really important that you keep your bodies moving, try to break up your home learning with some short bursts of activity using some of the resources below. Being active will help to improve your mood and concentration as well as helping to maintain your health and fitness. Try out some of the activities below daily; you could also include a walk, run, scoot or bike ride with a grown up or older sibling too. All of the activities mentioned below can be found with more detail in the PE google classroom:

Daily Physical Activity

Your January PE challenge is to complete a daily physical activity/game and record this on the Getset4Pe Calendar. You can use any of the suggested challenges from Getset4Pe or create your own, it should last for at least 30minutes.

Join a virtual activity and sports clubs hosted by the School Sports Partnership Team. These will be taking place daily with a different activity each day, the program and link to the zoom meeting will be shared in your google classrooms; you will need access to a screen/phone and a little bit of space to be active in. All sessions will be led by experienced School Sport Partnership staff (all with Enhanced DBS checks).

Real PE Challenge work to improve your fundamental movement skills each week. We will share a challenge which will aim to improve your balance, coordination and agility, you can work through the levels and play games to improve your skills too. Other activities to include activity throughout your day

Imoves – We will be adding activities for you to follow and do at home. You can access the home learning hub at using our unique PE class ID: 34862 with a password of 'Call'. These will change each week and include a variety of activities for infants and juniors.
